Brian, et. al.-

I was reallly pleased with the support and the site-mapping product form Keylimetie. I hope that you can help me with this. Last November or so, I thought about upgrading to 6.0, but was hesitant. In the forum, the response was that there would be no impacts and I wouldn't lose anything.

I have scrambled a few bucks together and decided to go for it and upgrade to 6.0. I chose "setup.exe" since I am running a Windows XP O/S on my box and when it is going through the "Bump & Grind" of the installation process, I get a dialog box which says-

The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2869.

I've re-downloaded the package three times, and still have the same problem. Any ideas?

Are you sure you're not running Vista? You said XP in your original post, but that error points to common Vista issues.
Make sure you run the "Vista.bat" file in the software download. This forces the installation to run as an Administrator and makes the installation run much smoother.

Brian-

DUH... Okay, I know that some people can't tell DOS from Windows <lol>, let alone which one of versions the O/S's is which.

I am running a Windows XP O/S, (Service Pack 2) but I can try running the Vista batch file, if you think it will work. the only thing I can think of, that may be an issue is that the product may be running in the background.

I still think you make a great product!!!

Ran the Vista batch file- Same results and problem code. Still getting a 2869 error code.

I am not in the mood to do an uninstall and reinstall, unless it can save my domains. Any ideas?

Uninstalling and reinstalling will not delete the domains. Please try that if it's an option.

Any suggestions?

Steve,
I apologize for the issues you are having. Windows XP is typically very easy to install on and we rarely have problems reported. If you would like, I can email you the software as a standalone application. The only difference is that it'll be unzipped into a folder on your computer and won't show up in the "Programs" area (although, you can add it there manually). All of the same features will exist, we're just avoiding the installer. Please let me know if you would like this emailed to you.
Thanks,
KeyLimeTie

Phileas Fogg timberland mens boots rightly suspected that his departure from London would create a lively sensation at the West End. From the Club it soon got into the papers throughout England. The boasted `tour of the world' was talked about, disputed, argued with as much warmth as if the subject were another black timberland roll top Alabama claim. At first some rash individuals, principally of Pink womens timberland boots the gentler sex, espoused his cause, which became still more popular when the Illustrated London News came out with his portrait, copied from a photograph in the Reform Club. A few readers of the Daily timberland roll top boot Telegraph even dared to say, `Why not, after all? Everything, it said, was against the travellers, every obstacle imposed alike by man Men's Timberland Splitrock Boots and by nature. A miraculous agreement of the times of departure and arrival, which was impossible, was absolutely necessary to his success. Dami
