I have the following Questions/Problems with the scheduler:

1. When assigning a frequency and clicking Save for a schedule, does that schedule the site profile I am working with or does that assign the schedule for all sites?
2. Is there more documentation for the scheduling service other than the documentation in the quick start guide?
3. How can I tell what is current schedule is?
4. Are there logs that tell the success/failure of scheduled events?
5. I selected a frequency of 1 week and clicked Save, it said the next run time would be 7/7/2007. I checked my FTP site and the files were not updated and the schedule still says the next run time is 7/7/2007. The scheduling service has been running the entire time and I've check by clicking refresh on that page. I also double checked the FTP settings and they are correct as well.

Thanks, -Ken

1. Just for that site.
2. No. We felt the quick start guide was good enough. Let us know if you have more questions.
3. Based upon the schedule for a website, you can determine when it last ran and when it's running next. There are also log files in the installation directory.
4. Yes. See the installation directory.
5. Check the logs for errors and let us know what you find. Or email them to us at info@iarchitect.net and we'll check them out.

I see the logs folder in the directory "C:\Program Files\iArchitect\iArchitect Sitemap Generator" which has daily log files but nothing more than "Timer Elaped" ever shows up. Do I need to enable more logging somewhere?

Probably not...the logging isn't too robust yet.
We will update the application to provide more logging details and get you an update.

Ken,

More useful logging has been added to the application.
Please download the updated verison at (still v4.2):
http://www.iarchitect.net/Uploads/106/iArchitect_SG42.zip

You will need to uninstall the current version and then install the new version.
All of your website profiles will stay...no need to back them up.

Please let me know how it goes.

Thanks,
Brian
