Hi
I have gone back to using 4.2, as version 5 is not doing the job.
I have several sites that use SEO friendly links, using a .htaccess file to manipulate the end links. The site is working perfectly.
The sitemap maker finds all the URLs, the problem is that the sitemap generator adds a forward slash '/' to the end of all the URLs, and they all 404 out?
All I need the program to do is find and add the URLs as they are gathered, without changing any of them.
I have added this here as a post, as I guess v4.2 is no longer being supported.
Regards
Wwm

Hi
As I am now in a position where both version 4.2 & 5 are not working properly, I decided to go back to working with v5, as this way, any feedback will be more constructive.
As I had uninstalled version 5, I had to reinstall it.
I run the install, and receive the error: 'The specified service already exists', and then back tracks out. But the files are not there, so as a guess, this is probably a registry issue.
I will try to move forward, as I need the sitemaps.
I will uninstall version 4.2, run Ccleaner, run MSconfig, then reboot, just to make sure all services are stopped, and then try to reinstall.
Some input from someone within the company who knows would be helpful.
Regards
Wwm.

Update: wwm and KeyLimeTie are working this out offline. Once we have a solution, we will post it here. So far, wwm is the only user experiencing this problem.

Comment regarding SEO friendly URLs. There are URI standards that must be met. Read more at: http://forums.iarchitect.net/yaf_postst9_Relative-URL-bug.aspx
