I have version 5.0. It is overwriting the priority to the default setting so every page has the same priority. Please advise!

I was #1 in Google and now it is coming back in webmaster tools that all of my priorities are equal and it can't figure out which is the most important.

The Sitemap Generator defaults all pages it finds to the level set in the preferences. After the website is spidered, you need to edit the results and set the preferences as you see fit. It is impossible for the software to determine the change frequency. Once it's set, it save it for future spidering.
