Is there anyway to generate an html sitemap where the links are diplayed under each directory ?

We have discussed this feature internally and it will not be made. For HTML sitemaps, the software simply generates an index page with links to the links pages (Page 1, 2, etc.). The pages are then broken up into 100 URLs per page per Google's recommendation. The HTML pages should not be viewable by the public. The HTML pages are an easy way to expose ALL of your website URLs to other search engines. We recommend you put a link to the HTML pages in some rarely viewed location so that your visitors probably will never see it (and who cares if they do), but all of the search engines will find it. Be sure not to try to hide iot too much (i.e. don't make the link the same color as the background).
