I have successfully spidered a coiuple of sites, and am now getting the following error in a warning box:

No one has replied, so I have tried again.

Now I am getting the error:

There are multiple root elements...

Please advise, I bought this software to use it, not solve the bugs?

I think this site needs some daily support feedback.

To continue alone...

When I first installed this software, I used the Vista bat file, thinking this would set the software up to run correctly.

I have created 2 or 3 sitemaps without any warnings, until the last couple of sites.

I uninstalled and reinstalled it, and still had the same problems.

Playing around with the setting, I have changed the compatibility to run as administrator.

I have just run this on one of the sites that gave me a warning last time, but this time it went through with no warnings. I still need to check that the sitemaps have been created and are actually there!

The strangest part is this. I am using my old imported data files, so when I first run the program in normal mode, I started to change each site settings, as I had changed the passwords on the sites, etc. When I changed the program to run as administrator, all my changes have disappeared? I am left with the original files again? What happened there?

So, end result, it looks like it runs okay as the admin.

If I get any errors in the sitemaps, I will post again as an update.

Now I have another problem.

Rebex can't connect to the hostname or similar?

I can't copy and paste the error message here as the program won't let me copy the error message, and to access the forum, I have to close down the error window?

Signing into the forum using the software gives an error as well, that I do not have access, then you click next, and have access?

Is there anyone there that offers help to people that have bought the software?

I will stop now, and await some help.

worldwidemarketing,

Sorry for the delay in responding. I will try to summarize your issues and provide responses:
1. Error "Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 175148". This sounds like binary data was found in the title of one of your pages and the XML file cannot be read. We added code to resolve this issue briefly after releasing v5.0. How long ago did you download v5.0? If it was months ago, I suggest you uninstall the software, re-download v5.0 and re-install it. Feel free to email us the cache.xml file for this URL (support@keylimetie.com) and we'll investigate.
2. Error "There are multiple root elements...". This is related to #1.
3. Rebex error. This was also fixed briefly after releasing v5.0. Please uninstall, download and re-install.

Thanks,
Brian
