Can you email us a screenshot? We're not exactly sure where you're seeing this message.

We think we know what the problem is on your computer.
The KeyLimeTie Sitemap Generator software assumes you have Notepad install since it comes with Windows.
We believe the error you're getting is related to this.

We updated the software to not assume this and to open the sitemap files with the default application set in Windows.
Please uninstall your software (you will not lost and of your sitemaps), re-download the software (it has been updated this morning) and re-install it. Download at: http://www.keylimetie.com/Common/Downloads/KeyLimeTieSG5.zip

Let us know if this works.

Thanks,
Brian

I'm losing patience on this new purchase. I tried to uninstall the software but as the uninstall progressed, a popup box with a blank dialogue box appears with an OK button. When you click the button, the install aborts. So I deleted the program directory and tried again. Same issue. I can't install the new version because it says there is a porblem with the old install. How do I get the old software off so I cna install the new.

It sounds like the KeyLimeTie Sitemap Generator Windows Service isn't uninstalling. In the KeyLimeTie Sitemap Generator zip download from our website, there is a file named "WinSvcUninstall.bat". Please run this file to force an uninstall of the windows service (Note: the bat file has a hard coded path to your Windows .NET Framework installation folder and to the KeyLimeTie Sitemap Generator folder. These are the default paths. You will have to update them if you changed the default installation paths). Then use the Windows built-in uninstall in the Control Panel (XP: Add/Remove Programs, Vista: Programs and Features) to remove the KeyLimeTie Sitemap Generator. Once it's complete you should be able to install the software again.

Thanks,
Brian
