I have over 728 page in my sitemap, perhaps there could be an easier method to changing page priority. I know there are programs out there that actually DO read and label page priority based on where the links where spidered from etc.
Any thoughts?

The software allows you to filter results and apply changes in groups.
For example, if you have a blog section on your website, you could choose to filter all URLs that contain "blog" and then apply a priority to just that set.
