I purchased a license via credit card but putting in email address at startup still get "no license" message. How long does it take or is something wrong?

I am getting the same problem - it's not a problem with our web connection, and has only been showing since I installed version 4.1

I just download the software and installed it on a new machine. I had no problems. I will look at the code, but I just checked the server and dozens of people have validated their licenses today. I wonder if the software is retrieving an ad (for the top right area of the program) and it's fighting for the internet connection. It shouldn't since these calls run on separate threads.
Please try again let me know what happens.

Right below the download link, I put the following message:
"Note to v4.0 users: Please uninstall v4.0, then rename the "C:\Program Files\iArchitect\iArchitect Sitemap Generator v4.0\" folder to "C:\Program Files\iArchitect\iArchitect Sitemap Generator" (remove "v4.0". Then install the new version. This will ensure your settings and sites all carry over to the new version. You will never need to do this again."
Did everyone do this? If not, that's OK. Just go to "C:\Program Files\iArchitect\iArchitect Sitemap Generator v4.0\" and copy (or move) all of the contents to the "C:\Program Files\iArchitect\iArchitect Sitemap Generator\" folder.

I just spoke with a licensed user and he is receiving error message: Error validating license. Check your internet connection. Error: The remote name could not be resolved: 'websvc.iarchitect.net'.
This sounds like a DNS problem. The error is telling us that it can't determine the IP Address for 'websvc.iarchitect.net'. This address is where the software goes to validate licenses.
Try this: 1. In Windows, click 'Start', then 'Run...'. 2. In the little window that opens, type 'cmd' and click the 'OK' button. 3. A command window will open. Type 'nslookup websvc.iarchitect.net' and hit 'Enter'. 4. The response should be something like:
C:\Documents and Settings\brianpautsch>nslookup websvc.iarchitect.net Server: <hidden> Address: <hidden>
Non-authoritative answer: Name: websvc.iarchitect.net Address: 66.223.112.168
5. The important item is the last IP Address. It should be 66.223.112.168. If it's not, flush your DNS (see below). If you received an error (usually a timeout), run the command again. It means your DNS provider is having problems resolving the URL.
Flush your DNS 1. In the command window already open, type 'ipconfig /flushdns' and hit 'Enter'. 2. Run the above command 3 times (sometimes it doesn't work the first time...don't as me why).
3. Type 'nslookup websvc.iarchitect.net' and hit 'Enter'. Is the IP Address '66.223.112.168'? If so, try running the software and validating your license again. If not, your DNS provider is probably caching bad data. Your DNS provider is the server that's listed in the nslookup command. COntact them and report the issue.

It must be my DNS provider I guess then, as I'm getting a timeout every time.
