Hi, Google Webmaster Tools is showing me errors in the Priority Tag Value -
The program automatically spiders and sets the value for 1.0 (high), and I don't think it likes the (high) part of the value.
I fixed that on one sitemap and uploaded, and it was just fine with only 1.0.
Is there a way to change the value to 1.0 for everytime it spiders?
Thanks

We tried getting the software to set all pages to "1.0 (high)" and cannot. Also, nobody else has complained about this so you have us a bit puzzled. Without being able to duplicate it, it's very hard to help.
But we have to ask, why are you defaulting all pages to 1.0? This value is only relevant to your website. Setting all pages to 0.1, 0.5 or 1.0 all have the same effect. It means all of the pages have the same value. Google recommends setting all pages to 0.5 and then manually adjusting pages or groups of pages to higher/lower values. In the case Google wanted to refresh only your most important pages, they would use this value. If they're all 1.0, we'd be afraid they'd skip all pages on randomly re-index certain pages.
So we recommend you change the default to 0.5. Then Edit the results and use the "Select rows..." and "Change" area to update pages or sets of pages. For example, set the home page to 1.0 and if you have a blog, maybe set all of the blog pages to 0.9 or 0.8.
Please try that out and let us know how it works.
Thanks, KeyLimeTie
