This is not an option. Entire sites should be spidered. I'll ask the development team how difficult it would be to add the option to spider "n" levels deep. If this preference existed, you could choose to spider only 1 level deep.

This is not supported yet and will be in a future release later this year.

In Edit Results, you can filter your results by a string match and then apply a priority to all matching URLs. Note: In our experience, Google doesn;t care about the priority value. It always crawls all pages the same frequency.

Not sure what you mean. Here's an explanation of the priority value at http://www.sitemaps.org/protocol.php:

"The priority of this URL relative to other URLs on your site. Valid values range from 0.0 to 1.0. This value does not affect how your pages are compared to pages on other sites—it only lets the search engines know which pages you deem most important for the crawlers.

The default priority of a page is 0.5.

Please note that the priority you assign to a page is not likely to influence the position of your URLs in a search engine's result pages. Search engines may use this information when selecting between URLs on the same site, so you can use this tag to increase the likelihood that your most important pages are present in a search index.

Also, please note that assigning a high priority to all of the URLs on your site is not likely to help you. Since the priority is relative, it is only used to select between URLs on your site."

Hii

I have got expected results using "Filter in Edit Results". But, How do I only export filtered reults, when I generate the sitemap after selecting the search engines of my wish in the sitemaps tab?

How can I only get those filtered results into sitemap.xml?

The feature you want doesn't exist. Why would you only want to publish a portion of your URLs?

Because,I do not want all the unnecessary pages of my website to be crawled by search engines.

And what is the use of Filters, if we are not able to export the filtered results?
Can u explain me why filters are used?

The Filters are used to filter results ONLY for editing. We've never had anyone ever request to have only some pages exported to the sitemap file and it never occurred to us that someone might want it.
