Hello,

I am using Windows 7 64Bit version. Installation appears to proceed without issue. I open the application and after I enter in my email address to unlock my software I receive the following error:

Error creating profile file.Access to the path 'C:\Program Files(x86)\KeyLimeTie\KeyLimeTie Sitemap Generator\profile.xml' is denied.

I am the only administrator on this box - local install - please advise..

Have you resolved this issue? Unfortunately, we don't support Windows 7 yet for this exact reason. We have successfully installed the software on several versions of Windows 7, yet some customers still have issues. Windows 7 security is very complicated and "inconsistent" from installation to installation.

I have been working on this issue for awhile. I am running Win7 64 and this is what I did to fix ALL of the features in KLT latest version: Go to the above link...\profile.xml and right click the file name, go to the security tab and "edit" security to allow "users" full access to the files. Viola, it works. Now, do this to ALL the files in the folders for KLT and it will work flawlessly. You may have to do all this again upon new version install, but this stopped the errors and allowed me to run all my sitemaps for all my websites.

You have to do this for each website you spider in....\KeyLimeTie\KeyLimeTie Sitemap Generator\xxxxxxx.xxx And all the files in the KLT main folder...\access, logs and sitemaps\xxxxx.xxx

If this works, a lot of people are going to owe me a beer, especially KLT! :>)

Now if I could only edit the spidered page and get rid of the 2,000 links that Google, Yahoo/Bing will not index. Hum...

Thanks for the advice regarding windows 7 64bit, your remedy worked and was on edge of requesting a refund.
You should be on the Keylime payroll

SOLVED - Locate the .exe file (C:\Program Files (x86)\KeyLimeTie\KeyLimeTie Sitemap Generator\iArchitect Sitemap Generator.exe). Right-click on it and select Properties. Select the Compatibility tab. Check the option "Run this program as an administrator". That should correct the problem.
