I understand Yahoo needs the sitemaps to be in txt format, however, the sitemaps that this application generates is in .txt format.
Google needs the txt sitemaps to be in UTF-8 format. Is there a way we can generate the txt sitemaps in UTF-8 format?

We're quite certain Yahoo accepts what the application generates, but we will look into the encoding. This should be an easy update.
In the meantime, if you want to change the encoding:
1. Open the file in Notepad
2. Click "File" then "Save As..."
3. Change the encoding to "UTF-8" and click Save.
